You have sufficient variety in the form of several tables/game environments, cue stick and ball variations to choose from. I could be nitpicky about many things, yet 3D Pool plays and looks as it’s supposed to. “Jaggies” on some shadows won’t deter me from appreciating the finer details of the rooms in which the pool tables are placed or the reflections from the billiard balls themselves. In case you’re wondering, the game does look much better than most of the smartphone counterparts I tried over the years.Īpart from some shadow effects when zooming is, most 3D asset edges are smooth. Sure, there are quite a few better looking pool billiards games on Steam, but those also tend to cost nearly double what 3D Pool is asking for. No frame rate dips at all and definitely no bugs or crashes. It must be propietary but it won’t matter a lot to most players, since the game runs buttery smooth even at 4K resolution.
GraphicsAfter digging through the game’s files, I couldn’t have any confirmation that this might be powered by Unity or another well-known graphics engine.
